I’ve been hosting the show on Substack mostly since the start. Throughout the year I thought about this a lot. At first I wanted to place my bet on Spotify’s Music+Talk format. It’s a Spotify exclusive feature that allows podcasts to have real licensed music in it. No charge. I tried this once with our first two episodes but I still released versions with no music them as your normal RSS podcast format. For reach. Let everyone hear the message.

As it turns out, I was diluting the message and reducing the chances of my music-included episodes from gaining any traction. That’s why, starting from today. wavy room will appear in only 3 places. Spotify. YouTube & our own website when we finally build it.

I have one more episode possibly in about 3 weeks with a great artist I think you’ll love. My crew DesignOpp held an event recently where my friend Holly talks to two great artists while they live paint for our audience. We recorded that, and it’s coming to wavy room as an episode likely January next year.

There’s plans in progress for next year. I’m looking for new clients for next year but also new talent for our talent agency. We’ve had some wins recently that I’d love to share. That’s all for now.
